The song tells the story of Pierrot who killed his sweetheart for the sake of his mother. He is condemned to hang, but the rope breaks and his life is spared. Pierrot is actually all of us. We live with our lies, our violence, our wrongdoings, but life often grants us another chance. Behind Pierrot\u2019s dark tale lies hope for a better world.
