Berger wrote a satirical song upon getting out of prison to make fun of the situation. However, the man targeted in the lyrics, thanks to his contacts, had the author put in shackles at the public square. So here\u2019s a brand new song, inspired by one of the oldest neighbours\u2019 quarrels in the Quebec archives, where some of the original verses have slipped in as rare evidence of artistic creation in the days of New France.
