This spectacular show is like an incredible family reunion staged by Michel Faubert. The musicians of worldwide renowned bands Le Vent du Nord and their brothers De Temps Antan share the stage for a lively show, bursting with songs, music and joie de vivre. A show that proudly displays the strength and maturity of some of the finest representatives of the younger generation of Québec’s traditional music scene.
These eight highly talented singers and multi-instrumentalists create a dynamic and vibrant show, featuring a repertoire of songs and tunes specially arranged to highlight their superb musicianship. They have played at numerous prestigious festivals including Celtic Connections in Glasgow, Edmonton Folk Festival and also at Carnegie Hall in New York City. In 2018 this supergroup released the album SOLO, widely acclaimed by the international press.
Playing in theaters in Quebec for 4 autumns (44 performances), the show SOLO with Le Vent du Nord and De Temps Antan has been acclaimed on prestigious stages, including at major international festivals including Celtic Connections, Edmonton Folk Festival, Les Nuits de Fourvières, Savannah Festival, Irish Guinness and Carnegie Hall in New York on January 24, 2020.
In November 2018, the supergroup released NOTRE ALBUM SOLO, a CD that was acclaimed by critics (4 stars in La Presse), and fans around the world.
